Painted Grape

I came here with my friend during walk-in hours, and we had a good experience. The lady who helped us was really nice and asked us what we wanted to paint. We looked at the examples provided, and it helped me to decide on what I wanted to paint. I would definitely recommend this place for a good hangout activity. Looking forward to coming here again sometime in 2024.

I had a really great first time experience at Painted Grape in Burlington, NC. I missed the cutoff time for scheduling for the open studio online as it closes 2 hours before the session starts at 7pm, however they allowed me to walk-in after calling to ensure space was available. There was plenty of parking space when I arrived. I was warmly welcomed by staff member Becca and she was awesome from start to finish. She informed me of how the process goes with open studio and then helped me pick out my craft. They had options for canvas paintings, wood crafts as well as ceramics. They even had snacks to purchase which was a nice option. I chose a ceramic butterfly and was provided with an apron and paint to begin my creativity. I must say the experience was very relaxing. I was able to listen to my headphones while drinking my Tropical Smoothie and enjoyed the calming atmosphere without feeling rushed. I completed my craft and Becca assisted with the glazing process that didn't take much time. I was able to take my item home with me the same day and I definitely look forward to checking them out again!

I cannot say enough good things about my daughter’s recent birthday party run by Painted Grape. The staff was excellent! Arriving early to setup (we hosted the party at a local park in one of the outdoor pavilions), providing crafts to occupy kids before/after the painting and cleaning up. Both employees were GREAT with kids. Giving step-by-step instructions and helping hands-on with painting portion. The customer service was fantastic as well during scheduling and coordinating. They handled all the details and worked with us on the best price/value given the number of attendees. They were easy to reach and had very open communication. I’m so glad we chose Painted Grape for our event and will definitely get their help again in the future.

We had a birthday party for our 11 year old here. It was great! The set up was easy, We just brought in cupcakes, snacks, utensils and plates and drinks (although when I got there they had these items just in case I’d forgotten something, which I thought was really nice!) They did everything else; small crafts were offered while we waited for all the guests to arrive, (So the kids were kept busy!) the canvases were set up in a sep birthday room. Once everyone arrived the instructor started the class and she was great with the kids, it’s hard to talk over chatty 11-year-old girls but she did a great job and kept their attention. It was a lot of fun and it was an EASY alternative to hosting at home!

We went and had a good time . The only thing is how the hours change we had a limited amount of time because a birthday party or something was coming . It was our first time ever going so we didn’t know the hours or how they work and it’s not very well posted on the web site . It just says hours subject to change due to holidays . Totally understand ! The staff was super nice and helpful. My daughter wants to come for her birthday and paint so I’ll be looking to see when they are able to come in the next two weeks (don’t need to rent becuase she’s only 6 and we are from up north so don’t have a lot of friends down here ) but the one in Burlington was fun ! Thank you for the memories!
